2025 Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League Community Bank Finals Series Confirmed

The Maryborough Castlemaine District Football Netball League wishes to confirm with the public that the 2025 MCDFNL Community Bank Finals Series will be held across a range of MCDFNL venues. This decision has been made in consultation with the Board and MCDFNL Clubs.

The move from Princes Park to club venues is a significant shift for the league during the most important weeks of the season. With Princes Park having been a long-standing host of the finals in the centre of Maryborough, the change has not been made lightly. However, due to a range of contributing factors and careful consideration, the league believes this is the best direction forward, providing an opportunity to give back to our clubs and communities.

Host venue clubs all agree in principle to allow the incoming club full access and rights to sell their products to members attending, without impeding on their potential takings.

The board wishes to thank the Central Goldfields Shire Council and all working parties on these matters. We are very fortunate to have the grounds and clubs across the league who are willing to assist on short notice to provide players, officials, and spectators the best possible finals experience.
